Fashion and Food: Fall Girls Getaways Part 1: How To Celebrate A Girlfriend`s Birthday

Fashion Friday! It’s all about the Fall Getaways! Mini getaways are fun, fast, and affordable! You can easily try new experiences, celebrate a girlfriend and do it on a budget. Ways to save are by splitting the cost, carpooling, time shares and Air B and B. This mini getaway was all about the mountains and celebrating my girl Estella! The girls and I did a weekend at Massutten Resort and a wine tour in the Wine Country area of Virginia. We were able to visit five wineries. I want to highlight two of the wineries in this post. The two wineries are Stone Mountain Vineyards and Glass House Winery. These wineries were both amazingly beautiful and different. Stone Mountain was voted one of the best views in Virginia. The Glass House Winery was like experiencing the rain-forest but totally inside. There was glass, lights, fire, and foliage everywhere. Stone Mountain was cozy, had wood fire sitting areas, and views for days. It felt like a hallmark movie. Oh and the wine was good too! Style Tip: I decide to wear a quilted jacket/coat, fuzzy turtleneck, leather leggings, rain boots and wool beret because I was trying to be comfortable, warm and keep my hair from getting wet.
