First Monday: What Is The Met Gala?

First Monday Y’all! Did you know that there is an annual gala called the Met Gala. Met Gala is a fundraising event typically held the first Monday in May in New York to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It’s also known as “Fashion’s Biggest Night Out”. So as a nod to my love of fashion, I put out a blog post on every First Monday.

This month’s post is in tribute to the Met Gala. This is first one being held back to May this year since the pandemic! I thought I would have some fun with this look, as if I was going to pre-cocktails before the Met. The Met has a different theme this year. This years theme is, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion”.
