Fashion and Food: Historic Places to Celebrate: Tyla Turns 21!

Fashion Friday! It’s all about the fashion, food, and wine on this celebration. My baby girl turned 21 and she wanted to go to her first winery! We took her to the historic Williamsburg area. The Williamsburg Winery is a great place to have your first winery experience. We chose to have lunch and a wine a tasting at one of the the winery restaurants, The Gaberiel Archer. We were able to try a sweet wine flight and sip on a surprise birthday drink. Delighting in flat breads, to fresh salads, quiches, a gourmet sandwich and savory shrimp tacos. To finish off the appetite we devoured cheesecake and homemade cookies, like lemon meringue, blueberry crumble and the classic chocolate chip. The lunch was absolutely perfect. We then went on a tour of the winery. The winery is beautifully spread out on a 300 acre farm featuring 40 acres of vineyards. Then finished the day in the cute little wine shop where our darling daughter purchased her first bottle of wine.

What do you wear to your first winery? My daughter and I chose to wear polka dots. We seem to end up twinning a lot and this was a perfect time do so. Polka dots are a huge trend this year.
