First Monday: The Best Historic Place to Celebrate in Costal Virginia

First Monday Y’all! It’s my 24th Wedding Anniversary! Just to give you some background about me. I love traditions. For years my husband and I would go to Waterman’s for our anniversary dinner but when a local historic hotel was restored in March of 2018 my husband and I started going there for our anniversary dinner. We also go to the restaurant Becca, located on the first floor of the restored hotel. I love to sit outside in the plush gardens where you get farm to table cuisine served under floral and lighted pergolas. I highly recommend going there at least once for the atmosphere alone. My husband Eric and I dined on lobster and crab appetizers to a shrimp with scallop entree and also rack of lamb. One of the highlights every year for me is that I’m able to get all dolled up for my boo thang. This year I chose a black and nude lace dress with sling back “naked” sandal and two peridot (august stone) rings. Style tip: Wear what you feel good in. P.S. I did bring a black shawl because I’m always cold. The shawl could also easily be worn with t-shirt and jeans. If you are ever in the Coastal Virginia area check out Becca at The Cavalier. Virginia Beach, 4200 Atlantic Ave, Va Beach, VA 23451. Tell them TJJ AKA Tori sent you.

P.S. Sorry I was late posting this…. I was out celebrating!!!!!!

About the look: (similar items) black lace dress, black sandals

Comment Below: Are you celebrating anything this summer?
